Why Does God Allow Evil?

Because too many of us ordinary people simply Don't Care ...
 --
at least not enough to Speak out Against it --

Or even better:
To Actually get involved and DO SOMETHING about it:

--
Like (for starters) to Sign a Petition,
or write a letter to the Editor of your local Newspaper,
or pay to place an Ad in your Local Newspaper,
or call a Talk Radio station and voice your opinion about something,
or attend a School Board Meeting and speak up about the
BOLDFACED LIES
that are being forced upon your children --
in the name of what is falsely called "science."

and Especially to VOTE for candidates who have High Moral Values,
and who stand for the things you believe in and oppose those things
that you don't.

Like NOT being afraid to voice your opinion in public,
or to your own family members, neighbors, and coworkers --
and even to warn them of the consequences of ignoring the Creator,
and that He will be holding us all accountable for our Words and Actions,

And / Or
Our Inaction and Silence.

Just as we are told in Isaiah 58 and various other places that we are to do.

That doesn't mean that we are Rude about how we do so,
but rather simply that we do, in fact, Speak up.
Hebrews 10:38-39

Edmund Burke once said:

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for Good Men to do Nothing."

And I would add:

Good Women as well,
and that "Nothing" means:
Nothing but watch TV, or play games,
or read (another Book, or Newspaper),
or going out and doing your Own Thing (every other night)
or taking another vacation to "get away" from it all,
or simply "attending" church meetings and functions,
and not getting involved or giving any of your time,
talents and $$$ to promote the truth of Christ's resurrection,
and His imminent return to judge mankind and to restore His
Kingdom of righteousness upon the earth.

Or just to show a homeless person, or someone whom you know
that you CARE about them and their future.

Isaiah 58

The following dialog by Dorothy Schwanke illustrates this Point quite well.

Reply:

Dear Concerned Student:

I am not allowed in schools.

Sincerely,

God

----------------------------------------------------------

How did this get started?...

-----------------

Let's see,
I think it started when Madeline Murray O'Hare complained
she didn't want any prayer in our schools.

And we said, OK...

------------------

Then,
someone said you better not read the Bible in school,
the Bible that says
"thou shalt not kill,
thou shalt not steal,
and love your neighbors as yourself,"

And we said, OK...

-----------------

Dr. Benjamin Spock said
we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave

because their little personalities would be warped
and we might damage their self-esteem.

And we said,
an expert should know what he's talking about
so we won't spank them anymore..

------------------

Then someone said
teachers and principals better not
discipline our children
when they misbehave.
And the school administrators said
no faculty member in this school
better touch a student when they misbehave
,
because we don't want any bad publicity,
and we surely don't want to be sued.

And we accepted their reasoning...

------------------

Then someone said,
let's let our daughters have abortions if they want,
and they won't even have to tell their parents.

And we said, that's a grand idea...

------------------

Then some wise school board member said,
since boys will be boys
and they're going to do it anyway,
let's give our sons all the condoms they want,
so they can have all the fun they desire,
and we won't have to tell their parents
they got them at school.

And we said, that's another great idea...

------------------

Then some of our top elected officials said
it doesn't matter what we do in private
as long as we do our jobs.

And we said,
it doesn't matter what anybody,
including the President,
does in private
as long as we have jobs
and the economy is good....

------------------

And someone else took that appreciation a step further
and published pictures of nude children
and then stepped further still by
making them available on the Internet.

And we said, everyone's entitled to free speech....

------------------

And the entertainment industry said,
let's make TV shows and movies that promote
profanity, violence and illicit sex...
And let's record music that encourages
rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes...

And we said,
it's just entertainment
and it has no adverse effect
and nobody takes it seriously anyway,
so go right ahead...

------------------

Now we're asking ourselves
why our children have no conscience,
why they don't know right from wrong,
and why it doesn't bother them to
kill strangers, classmates or even themselves.

------------------

Undoubtedly,
if we thought about it long and hard enough,
we could figure it out.
I'm sure it has a great deal to do with...

"WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."

------------------

Consider also the words of Pastor Martin Niemoeller,
who was imprisoned by the Nazis during WWII.

"They first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up
 -- because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up
-- because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up
 -- because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up
-- because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me
-- and by that time there was no one left to Speak up."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than to live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is."
Albert Camus, French novelist and playwright

The Mass Media is corrupt folks, and they are not going to tell the truth unless forced to do so.  In other words, they are not on the Lord's side in this battle between right and wrong, but rather oppose Him and His people on almost every moral issue there is: very often against the views of the MAJORITY, while bending over backwards to side with the minority and even the small minority
 --
Even to the point of forcing the minority views upon the Majority,
and even overruling what we vote on by the act of a single
(usually Liberal and Democratic) Judge
--
all with the Hearty Approval of the Mass Media.

The same people who label Christians as
"Hateful" or "Intolerant
And distort what it is we are "intolerant" of,
while doing their best to Cover Up the facts of science which
clearly point to a Creator.

God also Allows Evil to Test us, to see what we're made of,
and to strengthen our character and make us
more like Him: Phil. 2:5-11, 3:9-14.

He also allows it in order to give those
who Don't Want to serve and honor Him as God
Another Excuse not to do so.

However, He will hold them accountable Nonetheless.
