Statutory Marriage
A statutory marriage is what you get (by default) when you opt for the standard State marriage license. It means that you give your permission to the State, to accept whatever laws that its cohort of Above the Law Lawyers and Family Court Crooks think should apply to your marriage: and that you opt to allow an Above the Law Family Court Judge to decide any dispute that involves any future divorce and/or custody battle: as opposed to a real court with a jury.
